Keith (K.C.) Kummerfeld, CPA, is Chief Financial Officer and a Founding Member of Liferna. He brings more than 30 years of financial leadership experience across private and public life sciences companies, with expertise in corporate finance, SEC reporting, operational strategy, and capital formation.
Prior to Liferna, Mr. Kummerfeld served as Senior Vice President of Finance and Corporate Controller at Arcturus Therapeutics, where he managed SEC reporting, SOX compliance, FP&A, and governance functions. Over his career, he has helped raise more than $1 billion through venture capital, private equity, public markets, and bank financing, while supporting more than 15 M&A transactions.
